and time would never fade
so differently my life would run
i'd change this masquarade

i'd spend more time amoung the birds
i'd memorize each star
fearlessly plan in the sandbox
catch fireflies in jars

i'd travel to each continent
make the world a better place
follow my passion and desire
to see change in a stranger's face

i'd find somewhere to settle down
and build myself a home
so far away from what i know
so close to call my own
