dear atlanta,

today i'll say my last goodbye
and remember 6 years gone by
wherein i learned, with you i grew
but now it's time to start anew
i cherish dear your sunny days
and blissful breeze that filled my days
you took me in, no questions asked,
accepted me, future. and past.
you held my hand and dried my tears
i thought i'd stay for years and years
here i learned to truely live
and in your days how to forgive
you know my soul & my heartbeat
and intertwined them in your streets
that twist and turn and guide and roam
around the city that i called home
today it's time, today i pack
i leave my home, and won't come back
its time to close, this chapter's done
already a new book has begun
i have a divided heart today
2 years ago i moved away
tonight my new life will start
but atlanta has a place in my heart
no longer will i roam the streets
but my memories, i'll always keep
so goodbye today, goodbye forever
here begins my new endeavor.
